"Flutter" is a 2D short film that follows the story of Kippy, a bird with a broken wing, as she tries to find a way to fly again. This project was created by students in the Interactive Multimedia and Design program at Carleton University.
Set in a forest inhabited by Kippy and her fellow American Bushtits, the story unfolds as she tirelessly explores various methods to overcome her obstacle. "Flutter" aims to deliver an uplifting and engaging narrative that instills a message of resilience and perseverance in its audience.
I was the concept and background artist for this short film, where I fleshed out Kippy's design and created the forest backdrops. I also contributed to the storyboarding process.
